Mendoza

Vibrant Argentina bursts with life across its diverse terrain. Mountains, mighty waterfalls, epic glaciers and beaches – Argentina has it all. Listen to tango echo through a tangle of cobbled streets in Buenos Aires, explore the frozen wilderness of Patagonia, and amble between sun-kissed vineyards in Mendoza. On the southern tip of the continent lies Ushuaia; gateway to the wild Tierra del Fuego National Park and port of embarkation for expedition cruises to the Antarctic. Set foot off the plane and you’ll soon be seduced by Argentina’s soaring natural beauty, irresistible culture, seriously good wine and melt-in-your-mouth steak.

We are located in the city of Mendoza, the country’s fourth biggest city. Nestled between the eastern foothills of the Andes and the high plains, Mendoza is the gateway to the region’s world famous vineyards. Once a sprawling desert in the shadow of the mountains, today approximately 70% of Argentina’s wine is produced in the province.

But it’s not all about wine! Mendoza is perfectly located to offer a variety of enviable trip options.

Nature rules in this city that serves as a starting point for all kinds of adventure activities and high country sports, such as mountaineering, horse riding, climbing and ski, as well as river rafting, which is practiced in the Mendoza River, with some very difficult stretches highly praised by the best sportsmen in the world.

Nearby is Aconcagua – America’s highest peak for further trekking and climbing possibilities. Cacheuta, located about an hour outside of Mendoza, has a very large network of heated outdoor pools called the "Parque del Agua”. An epic bus journey through the Andes will cross you into Chile for a weekend break in Santiago. Not forgetting the unmissable Buenos Aires which is under a 2 hour plane journey away.
